Our Challenges & Goals

Despite its strong brand and loyal following, RED KETTLE’s previous website, built on WordPress with WooCommerce, faced several challenges. The platform was restrictive, limiting the restaurant’s ability to customize operations. Pre-ordering and payment processes were rigid, manual processes slowed down order fulfillment, and there was no seamless integration between the website, delivery partners, e-invoicing, and reservations. Kode Digital’s primary goals were to modernize its website while maintaining brand identity, streamline online ordering and payment, automate backend processes, and improve operational efficiency for both kitchen and front-of-house staff.

How We Helped

Website Revamp

Kode Digital partnered with RED KETTLE to revamp their website while preserving the restaurant’s visual identity. Instead of replacing the existing WordPress + WooCommerce system, we enhanced it with custom solutions tailored to the restaurant’s operational needs.

Customers can now enjoy a seamless online experience, pre-ordering and paying via FPX, e-Wallet, or credit card through bizappPay. Lalamove delivery is fully integrated with WooCommerce, ensuring orders reach customers efficiently.

To streamline operations, we implemented e-Invoice automation linked directly to Malaysia’s LHDN myTax portal, eliminating the need for third-party subscriptions and manual processes.

Kitchen staff benefit from a custom order management system, while automated WhatsApp notifications via iSMS API keep both staff and customers informed in real time.

We also introduced a reservation system to efficiently handle large group bookings, and integrated Storehub to ensure smooth inventory tracking and operational management across the restaurant.

The Outcome

Kode Digital helped RED KETTLE transform their website into a modern, branded platform that reflects the restaurant’s identity. Customers can now order and pay online seamlessly, while backend processes like invoicing, delivery, and order notifications are automated, saving time and improving efficiency. The reservation system makes group bookings easier, and the scalable platform is ready to support future growth.
