Lorong Travers is a heritage destination located in Bukit Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur. Once part of Damansara Road and named after Dr Ernest Travers, founder of the Sungai Buloh leprosy settlement, the area embodies a rich blend of colonial history and natural charm. Today, it stands as a serene retreat featuring hiking trails, art galleries, and cafés surrounded by greenery, managed in collaboration with the Urban Community Forest (UCF).

Lorong Travers needed a strong visual identity and an engaging digital presence to reflect its historical depth and natural beauty. The main challenge was to create a design that balanced its rich colonial past with its modern role as a living, breathing community space. The goal was to develop a cohesive brand identity and an informative yet immersive website that could attract both locals and tourists to explore this hidden gem in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Kode Digital started by creating a visual identity that captures the spirit of Lorong Travers — a place where history and nature meet. We designed a logo that combines the idea of a “lorong” or lane with elements of greenery, symbolising the connection between the city’s heritage and its natural surroundings. The result is a clean and memorable logo that works well across both digital and physical platforms.
We then designed the official website to help visitors discover what makes Lorong Travers unique. The website layout is simple, modern and easy to navigate With its strong visual identity and user-friendly website, Lorong Travers now has a professional online presence that attracts and inspires visitors to explore its heritage and beauty.
