Our Challenges & Goals

A collaborative effort between Kode Digital and RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus began when RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus aimed to boost their brand awareness and recruit potential aspiring doctors through their online presence. Hence, Kode Digital has assisted RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus with their online presence through our services of Website Design & Development, Social Media Management, Search Engine Optimization, Ad Management (Google Ads / PPC / Google Display Network), Content Writing, Photography, Graphic Design (Newspaper Ad Design), Banner Design as well as Animated Videos.

Social Media Marketing & Management

Our approach to Social Media Marketing & Management for RUMC’s Facebook and Instagram allows fast interactions among the institution and aspiring doctors. We create weekly calendars and Gantt charts that map out the social media content in colour-coded categories. Communication with RUMC are held weekly as we go through the upcoming content, ensuring continuity and consistency in social media postings. This visual browsing experience grants audiences or potential students a bird’s eye view of their medical studies journey. In addition, we utilize supporting visuals that provide a clear path to information, such as upcoming keynotes and events. We added call-to-action (CTA) that drives action, thus boosting their engagement results and goals.

Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization is important for every business, especially in this digital era. With the goal of gaining more visibility and organic traffic on RUMC’s website, we first had a website audit to check all of the factors that are affecting their website’s visibility in search engines. Once the website audit report is done, we will go through on-page optimization such as page speed, image alt text, keywords, and optimized content. While the search algorithms are constantly changing, we also focus on link building to enhance the authority of their website by getting more quality backlinks.

Ad Management (Google Ads / PPC / Google Display Network)

Apart from getting organic traffic, we also work with RUMC to drive more traffic through Facebook Ads and Google Ads every month. RUMC wishes to get more quality leads and requested our Ad Management service to generate a seamless lead generation system. Our job includes creating Search Ads and Display Ads to build more brand awareness and improve their conversion rate. We always ensure that our clients’ ad budget does not go to waste and at the same time achieve their monthly goals. Through keyword research and competitor analysis, we can make sure that our ads are getting heard by the right audiences as well.

Website Design & Development

With our knowledge and expertise in the market, the goal of a website is to represent a company – its brand, sell its services, attract more visitors, generate more business leads, promote more sales of company’s services and ultimately gain more return of investment. To do so, a company should have a consistent brand message that penetrates through information clutter and builds loyalty and trust with audiences. Hence, Kode Digital has assisted our RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus to revamp their website. There is no second thought that the website has to be user friendly, informative and visually appealing. Upon revamping the website, the Kode Digital team started with brainstorming and proposing new design layouts, producing wireframe designs, site development, site testing and finally successfully launched it. Additionally, Kode Digital was approached to create a microsite that would allow students and guests to make payments through an online portal. This microsite was designed to be compatible with iPay88 to give options for online payment methods.

Content Writing

We are tasked to provide blog content writing services monthly, blog articles that include target keywords with links to increase keyword density that optimises for SEO whilst achieving short-term or long-term goals. We have revolutionised their digital presence by ranking higher, gaining RUMC more traffic among their target audiences. We offer landing page content write-ups that elevate and focus their message in a way that could be universally understood. Our comprehensive contents offer something of value that aspiring doctors want and that comes in a variety of forms, such as imagery, videos, or blog post articles.

  • We make sure that our designs are visually appealing and correlative with our clients’ brand colour, brand identity and typography. Our goal is to blend information and aesthetics in a way that captivates and communicates. Each project, including unique items like notebooks, campus artwork, and promotional materials for newspapers, pushed us to tailor our approach based on function, format, and audience. Our design work also extends to event branding and collateral, where we’ve supported major milestones and celebrations. This includes the celebration logo and special video for the client’s anniversaries, as well as event visuals for Ireland-Malaysia Day. For key academic ceremonies like the Conferring Ceremony and White Coat Ceremony, we designed everything from event logos and backdrops to invitation cards and newspaper ads. This ensures that each design works hard to support marketing goals across a wide range of media.

    Photography

    As part of our goal of updating the client’s marketing material, as well as generating more resources to be used as content, we helped process the development of RUMC’s digital image library, which includes both stock and candid photos. To achieve this, Kode Digital took charge of a number of photoshoots with the RUMC marketing team, bringing together shooting models, makeup artists and freelance photographers. By doing so, we were able to provide both ourselves and the client with new material to update their websites and branded materials with.

    Animated Videos

    An image is worth a thousand words. For a video, multiply that by a thousand and that is how powerful video marketing is as part of our marketing campaign for RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus to engage the audience, gain more brand awareness and ultimately convert audiences into potential leads. We have written various video scripts and edited videos for the marketing campaign such as an engaging 30-second brand video located on the homepage of the RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus website and a ‘9 Student Stories series’ on the lives of aspiring doctors.
