Our Challenges & Goals
ExMag approached us to help establish an online presence for their company by creating a new website that also functioned as an online shopping platform. The website was designed to be informative, with a cohesive layout that would make it easy for visitors to find the products they were looking for and learn more about the device’s specific information. Our goal for this project was to provide as much groundwork and information for customers as possible to prepare for when ExMag was ready to begin selling products online.
How We Helped
Website Design & Development
Kode Digital aimed to create a website with features and designs that suited ExMag and their specific needs. This included social media integration, inquiry forms, setup of eCommerce functions and inserting PDF operating manuals for customers to download. One key eCommerce function we created was searching for products by category and brand and then quoting them to ExMag for purchase.
We also went the extra mile when it came to developing click-able buttons, designing some of them like barcodes to stay true to the client’s business with scanning animations to make them more attractive. In this way, the website design was concise and visually appealing to ensure visitors could clearly and easily find the products they were looking for without needless, excessive scrolling.
The Outcome
The website’s design followed the brand guidelines and designs provided by the client, heavily emphasising their logo design, colour scheme and layout. We ensured the website’s responsiveness through meticulous development, enabling seamless browsing across all devices. While certain website features conceived during the initial planning stage were cut due to time and resource constraints, Kode Digital was still able to work around these setbacks to deliver a complete product. The project outcome was a visually appealing and user-friendly website that is an effective online presence and shopping platform for ExMag.
