Moonshop Gallery is a plant design laboratory specialized in experimenting with arts and botanies, providing a touch of green aesthetics to the living environment. Their passion for nature, arts and the beauty of the tropical rainforest has led them in setting up educational and leisure Forest Education Workshops to share their knowledge in making the Moon Forest, Forest In A Bottle and Forest Frame for the participants’ living spaces.
Our Challenges & Goals
Our friendship with Moonshop Gallery started when they decided to set up an online shop to sell their botanical products and the Forest DIY Kit Collection. Customers are able to achieve the zen in their living environment with ready-made botanical arts, or they can design and make their own unique forest bottle with a personal touch. As their customer base expands internationally, we are requested to upgrade their official site into an eCommerce Website, where they are able to serve their customers from other countries. Furthermore, they need our help in automating the appointment booking for their Forest Education Workshops online to make the track and trace much more convenien
How We Helped
Website Design & Development
We developed and upgraded the Moonshop Gallery official site into an eCommerce Website as their customer base grew to other states and internationally, away from their brick and mortar in Penang. We modernized their eCommerce platform and its functionality by choosing 2 reliable payment gateways for both local and international customers, allowing Moonshop Gallery to turbocharge their online reach and delivery options. Additionally, we have installed a registration plugin to automate the appointment booking for their Forest Education Workshops, providing their customers with a seamless and easy-to-use online booking experience.
The Outcome
We successfully modernized the eCommerce Website for Moonshop Gallery with reliable payment gateways and an automated booking plugin. As their customer base expands in different states and countries, every customer will be charged with various shipping rates based on their whereabouts. Thus, we installed 2 payment gateways, namely “Billplz” for local customers and “Stripe” for international customers who do not hold a Malaysia bank account. Besides, our automated booking plugin will prevent customers from booking the wrong dates when the workshop is not operating, making the customers’ booking experiences smooth and faultless.
